Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating company vehicles to safely deliver parts to professional customers while also handling C.O.D. transactions and customer returns. Key responsibilities include using delivery management devices, ensuring vehicle maintenance, picking up returns, and communicating customer needs. Strong interpersonal skills and a valid state driver's license are required, with a preference for bilingual candidates, particularly fluent in Spanish. Additional tasks may include customer service and general support activities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
