Job Summary
Operate and maintain store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner; process COD deliveries, collect money, and pick up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and monies secure. May assist customers as a cashier, help with merchandising tasks, and perform stocking. Bilingual candidates encouraged. Demonstrate strong communication, adaptability to changing delivery situations, and adherence to vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
