Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Key responsibilities include operating company vehicles safely, using delivery management devices, securing vehicle-related items, ensuring maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles, and reporting any issues to store management. Essential skills include the ability to quickly match sequences, strong communication abilities, and readiness to adapt to various delivery situations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
