Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include processing deliveries using hand-held devices, securing delivery vehicles and collected monies, and handling customer returns. This role requires a driver’s license, a clean driving record, and strong communication skills, with preferred qualifications including familiarity with automotive parts and bilingual abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
