Job Summary
Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner, collect money on COD deliveries, pick up customer returns, and assist with customer service and merchandising tasks as needed. Responsibilities include using delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, performing daily vehicle inspections, keeping vehicles and related equipment secure, and coordinating with store management to address customer needs and vehicle maintenance. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
