Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to safely deliver parts and products to customers, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, and pick up customer returns. Responsibilities include operating vehicles, using delivery management devices, completing vehicle inspections, and ensuring the security of delivery items. Essential skills include the ability to match alphanumeric sequences, strong interpersonal communication, adaptability to changing situations, and a valid driver's license meeting company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
