Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries, and picking up customer returns. Key responsibilities include operating company vehicles, using delivery fleet management devices, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring vehicles are secure. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, a valid state driver's license, and meet driving eligibility requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
