Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently, and collecting payments on C.O.D. deliveries. Key responsibilities include operating company vehicles, using delivery fleet management devices, securing delivery vehicles and funds, reporting vehicle issues, managing returns, and performing various tasks such as customer service and merchandising. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to adapt to changing situations, and possession of a valid state driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
