Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently while also collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Key responsibilities include maintaining and securing delivery vehicles and equipment, processing deliveries, and communicating customer needs to store management. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, a valid state driver's license, and meet driving eligibility requirements. Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
