Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Key duties include processing deliveries with handheld devices, collecting C.O.D. payments, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. The position requires a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations. Additional skills include the ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly. The role may also involve customer service tasks such as assisting customers and handling stock orders.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
