Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely while capturing signatures and updating mileage via hand-held devices. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Communicate special customer needs to management, report maintenance issues or accidents immediately, and secure all keys, fuel cards, and monies at the end of each shift. Perform general duties including sweeping, stocking, merchandising, and assisting with cashier tasks when business dictates. Maintain a clean, inspected vehicle and ensure the fuel tank is full before leaving the lot. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish fluency
