Job Summary
Drive company vehicles to deliver parts and products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers, picking up stock transfers and signing for deliveries at each stop. Maintain daily city route manifests, check fluid levels, and log mileage before operating the vehicle. Secure the fleet, fuel card, and keys at the end of each day, reporting any maintenance needs immediately to the store manager. Project a professional image to maintain customer relations and communicate special needs from stores to management. Deliveries must follow the set schedule, with delays reported to the city delivery supervisor. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- legal required state driver's license
- meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
