Job Summary
Drive company vehicles to deliver parts and products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers, picking up stock transfers and signing for deliveries at each stop. Maintain daily city route manifests, verify invoices with designated team members, and report delays to supervisors. Secure the fleet, fuel card, and vehicle keys; check fluid levels and log mileage before operating. Fill fuel tanks, lock and secure the vehicle at day's end, and report maintenance needs immediately. Communicate special store needs to management and project a professional image to maintain customer relations. Clock in/out per policy and match alphanumeric sequences efficiently. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- legal required state driver's license
- meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
