Job Summary
Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers on a set route, operating a company vehicle and picking up/signing for stock transfers at each stop. Maintain route manifests, ensure invoices are signed, keep fleet/fuel card and vehicle keys secure, perform basic vehicle checks, report problems to store management, clock in/out, and uphold a professional customer-focused image. Bilingual candidates are encouraged. Must have a legal driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements; drive safely and defensively and communicate any issues or special needs from stores to management. Location noted: Store 05063 Providence, RI; full-time with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
- Proficiency in clocking in/out according to company policy
- Ability to drive company vehicle safely and defensively
- Experience delivering to stores and distribution centers
- Ability to pick up and sign for stock transfers
- Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries
- Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
