Job Summary
Drive company vehicles to deliver parts and products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers, picking up and signing for stock transfers at each stop while maintaining daily route manifests. Secure the fleet and fuel card, check fluid levels, and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately, fill fuel tanks, and ensure the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the shift. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to management and report delays to the city delivery supervisor. Maintain good customer relations by projecting a professional image and verifying invoices with designated team members.
Required Qualifications
- legal required state driver's license
- meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
