Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner while collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns. Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update vehicle mileage. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times. Fill out driver return slips for cores and warranties, communicate special customer needs to management, and ensure fuel tanks are filled before securing the vehicle at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties including stocking, merchandising, and cashiering as needed. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
