Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Maintain vehicles by keeping them clean, completing daily inspections, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Secure all keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times. Communicate special customer needs to management and ensure the fuel tank is filled before end-of-day lockout. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties such as sweeping, stocking, merchandising, cashiering, and handling core returns. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages
- Spanish is highly desired
