Job Summary
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner, using fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, pick up customer returns, and fill out driver return slips. Maintain vehicles by completing daily inspections, keeping them clean, and reporting maintenance needs or accidents immediately. Secure keys, fuel cards, and collected monies at all times, ensuring fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked at day's end. Clock in/out per policy and perform assigned duties including customer service, sweeping, stocking, and merchandising. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired. Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license
- Must meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
