Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include using handheld devices for processing deliveries, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and secure handling of delivery vehicles and collected payments. The role also involves picking up customer returns and communicating customer needs to management. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to quickly adapt to changing situations, and a valid driver's license. Other duties include customer service, stocking, and merchandising tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
