Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist is responsible for maintaining and operating store vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers both safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include processing deliveries with hand-held devices, managing vehicle maintenance, securing delivery vehicles and funds, and handling customer returns. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to adapt in changing delivery scenarios, and a valid driver's license meeting company requirements. Additional duties may involve assisting customers, cashier responsibilities, and general stocking tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
