Job Summary
The Delivery Specialist will operate and maintain store vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently to professional customers. Responsibilities include processing deliveries using handheld devices, collecting money for C.O.D. deliveries, and managing customer returns. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, meet company driving eligibility requirements, and demonstrate strong communication and adaptability skills. Additional duties may include customer service and general store maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with automotive parts
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
- Ability to operate other light store equipment
