Job Summary
Delivery Solution Architect responsible for the architecture, engineering design and integration of customized LAN/WAN/Security/SDWAN/Cloud/Data Centre solutions for large business customers. Leads delivery of large, complex projects, designs networking solutions based on business needs, produces drawings and specifications, and writes service offerings with scope of work and contract documents. Maintains the business requirement roadmap, participates in IT governance milestones, and translates technical issues into business benefits. Requires a Government of Canada SECRET Level II clearance, minimum 10 years in telecommunications, and advanced knowledge across multiple network technologies. Based in Canada with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in-office) in Ottawa or Montreal; French proficiency is required for Quebec postings.
Required Qualifications
- Secret Clearance (Level II)
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience in telecommunications
- Advanced Network Routing, Switching, Wireless, Security skills – Architectural Design, implementation and troubleshooting
- In depth knowledge of LAN / WAN / Security / SDWAN / Cloud / Data Centre / Cisco / Fortinet / Juniper / Infoblox / Arista / Palo Alto / Big IP F5+
- Operating systems: Windows 10/11, Server 2016 through 2025
- Microsoft Office suite basics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) considered assets
- French language proficiency for positions in Quebec
- Experience with datacenter switching hardware
- vSphere experience
- Active Directory experience
- IP Telephony basics (RTP, RTCP, H.323, SIP)
- Experience with Running Large IP Networks
- CCIE or CCNP/DP or Juniper/JNCIE assets are considered to be an asset
Additional Requirements
- Based in Canada; Hybrid work arrangement; must report to a Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week
