Delivery Service Manager

Job Summary
Develop and manage recruitment, training, coaching, and retention of driver and support staff; ensure an exceptional delivery experience for customers. Proactively mediate customer concerns, control expenses related to staffing and supplies, and implement safety programs for driving and handling. Conduct routine audits of delivery staff to ensure service standards, evaluate work performance, and communicate issues and new processes with delivery personnel. Collaborate with the Warehouse Operations manager to improve product flow from warehouse to delivery units, update delivery staff job descriptions as needed, and assist HR with disciplinary actions and maintaining discipline files.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years management experience in a food or beverage distribution/logistics environment
- Working knowledge of current DOT Compliance
- Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
