Job Summary
Conduct financial consolidation and close operations by collecting operational data, reconciling transactions, and posting journal entries. Balance balance sheet accounts against source data to verify general ledger accuracy, address reconciling items, and prepare cash forecasting statements. Independently close books of account per GAAP, perform inter-company consolidations, and reconcile statutory ledgers while preparing quarterly reporting packages. Mentor junior professionals, identify process improvements, and support clients across multiple time zones with rotational shifts and occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- BCom/MCom
- 10 to 14 years Years of Experience
- Qualified CA
- 6 year of post qualification experience in Auditing Financial Statements and managing books of accounts
- Strong and above average communication skills in English Language
- Good working knowledge in ERP System preferably in NetSuite System
- Strong knowledge in excel and ppt
- Flexible to work in shifts to support Client business in different time zone
- Flexible for short / long term travels to visit client facility for training, knowledge transfer, meetings, workshops purpose
- Independently closing books of account as per GAAP without or very minimal dependencies on Client
- Prepare Consolidation and eliminations accounting as GAAP
- Reconcile Statutory Ledger vs Primary ledger and perform GAAP adjustments
- Perform Inter-Company consolidation and elimination accounting
- Perform accruals, prepaid and close sub-ledger
- Review financial statements, prepare financial reporting package to report quarterly result to investors
- Provide advice on a wide range of issues, including audit, tax and more
- Support clients to achieve their goals and aspirations
- Mentor, train, and guide junior professionals
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive transformation initiatives
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience of GAAP Accounting
- Netsuite ERP
- Strong Communication Skills
- BPO industry experience
- Experience with Airline business
- In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems
- Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures
- The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
- Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
- The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
- Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams
- Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
