Job Summary
Delivery Medical Service Technician responsible for safely driving a 16-foot box truck or van, delivering, unloading, and setting up durable medical equipment (DME) and oxygen devices, preparing the vehicle with stock from a daily route, instructing patients and/or caregivers on proper use and care, and maintaining professional, courteous interactions in a 24/7 rotating on-call operation. Role requires adherence to DOT and FDA regulations, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and participation in on-call schedules; training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Clean motor vehicle record with no major violations in past 5 years
- Subject to criminal background check
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to drive a 16-foot box truck or van and safely deliver equipment
- Enforces DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to Oxygen and DME
