Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload equipment, ensuring it is secured properly and verifying its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities, provide basic usage instructions to clients, and address inquiries professionally. Plan and optimize delivery routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple responsibilities and demonstrating sound judgment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
