Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the [LOCATION] area. Load and unload equipment, verify its condition upon delivery and return, and install devices at sites while ensuring proper functioning. Provide basic instructions to clients on equipment use and care, address inquiries professionally, and coordinate with the dispatch team for delivery schedules. Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely, efficient deliveries while maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
