Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the designated service area. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning while providing clients with basic usage instructions. Plan and optimize delivery routes, coordinate with the dispatch team for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, addressing customer inquiries professionally. This full-time, salary-based position (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) requires reliable transportation and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
