Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences, ensuring safe loading, unloading, and proper securing of supplies. Verify and document equipment condition upon delivery and return, then install and set up devices while providing basic usage instructions to clients. Coordinate with dispatch for schedules, optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and times. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while delivering excellent customer service and addressing inquiries professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
