Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the [LOCATION] area. Load and unload equipment, ensuring it is secured properly and verifying its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up durable medical equipment at facilities and homes, providing basic instructions to clients on initial use and care. Coordinate with the dispatch team for delivery schedules, plan and optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Adhere to all traffic laws while providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries professionally. Full-time, salary-based role with an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday schedule, including a vehicle allowance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
