Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the designated service area. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up devices, provide basic usage instructions to clients, and address inquiries professionally. Plan and optimize routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws while driving and ensure proper functioning of installed equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
