Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the [LOCATION] area. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning and providing basic usage instructions to clients. Plan and optimize delivery routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Adhere to all traffic laws while providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
