Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the [LOCATION] area. Safely load, unload, and secure equipment while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Verify and document equipment condition upon delivery and return, then install and set up devices at facilities and homes. Provide basic instructions to clients on initial use and care, addressing inquiries professionally. Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries by coordinating with the dispatch team. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and times.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus
