Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences while adhering to all traffic laws. Load, unload, and secure equipment, then verify and document its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at sites, ensure proper functioning, and provide basic usage instructions to clients. Plan and optimize routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and address inquiries professionally. Maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. This full-time, salary-based role (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus
