Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences while adhering to traffic laws. Load and unload equipment, securing it properly to prevent damage, then verify and document its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning, and provide basic instructions to clients on initial use and care. Plan and optimize routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and times. Address customer inquiries professionally and foster a cooperative work environment. This full-time role (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
