Job Summary
Drive a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the [LOCATION] area. Safely operate the vehicle, load and unload equipment, secure it for transit, and verify condition upon delivery. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, provide basic usage instructions to clients, and address inquiries professionally. Coordinate with dispatch for schedules, optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws while performing these essential functions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
