Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences. Load, unload, and secure equipment, then verify and document its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at sites, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic usage instructions to clients. Plan and optimize routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and address inquiries professionally. Maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and times. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
