Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient transportation of durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the [LOCATION] area. Operate a delivery vehicle, load and unload equipment, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up medical equipment at facilities and homes, providing basic usage instructions to clients. Coordinate with dispatch for delivery schedules, optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws while providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
