Job Summary
Drive a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences. Safely operate the vehicle, adhere to traffic laws, and load/unload equipment while ensuring proper securing and documentation of condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, verify functionality, provide basic usage instructions to clients, and address inquiries professionally. Plan and optimize routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and times.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
