Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up medical devices at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic usage instructions to clients. Coordinate with dispatch for schedules, optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and times. Address customer inquiries professionally and foster a cooperative work environment. Full-time, salary-based role (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) with vehicle allowance and bonus opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
