Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the [LOCATION] area. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic instructions on initial use. Coordinate with the dispatch team for delivery schedules, optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This full-time, salary-based position (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) requires reliable transportation and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
