Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at sites, ensuring proper functioning and providing basic usage instructions to clients. Coordinate with the dispatch team for schedules, optimize routes for efficiency, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws while providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries professionally. This full-time, salary-based role requires reliable transportation and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
