Job Summary
Drive a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the [LOCATION] area. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up devices at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic usage instructions to clients. Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries, coordinate with the dispatch team for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
