Delivery Medical Associate (Med Delivery)

Job Summary

Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences while adhering to all traffic laws. Load and unload equipment, ensuring it is secured properly and verifying its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up durable medical equipment at facilities and homes, providing basic instructions to clients on initial use and care. Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service, coordinating with the dispatch team for schedules and updates. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and equipment documentation, while addressing customer inquiries professionally. This full-time, salary-based role includes a vehicle allowance and runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
