Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences, adhering to all traffic laws. Load and unload equipment, ensuring it is secured properly and verifying its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up medical equipment at facilities and homes, providing basic instructions to clients on initial use and proper care. Plan and optimize delivery routes while coordinating with the dispatch team for schedules and updates. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, times, and documentation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and fostering a cooperative work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
