Job Summary
Drive a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the [LOCATION] area. Safely operate the vehicle while adhering to traffic laws, load and unload equipment, and ensure it is secured properly. Verify and document equipment condition upon delivery and return, then install and set up devices at facilities and homes. Provide basic instructions to clients on initial use and proper care, addressing inquiries professionally. Plan and optimize routes for efficiency, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus
