Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences, adhering to all traffic laws. Load and unload equipment, securing it properly to prevent damage, then verify and document its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic instructions on initial use. Plan and optimize delivery routes, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Address customer inquiries professionally and foster a cooperative work environment. Full-time, salary-based role (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) with vehicle allowance and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
