Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient transportation of durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the designated service area. Load and unload equipment, verify its condition upon delivery and return, and ensure proper securing to prevent damage. Install and set up delivered equipment at facilities and homes, providing basic instructions on initial use and care. Coordinate with the dispatch team for delivery schedules, optimize routes for timeliness, and maintain accurate records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws while driving a delivery vehicle and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
