Job Summary
Operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload equipment, ensuring it is secured properly and verifying its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up durable medical equipment at facilities and homes, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic instructions to clients on initial use. Plan and optimize delivery routes, coordinate with the dispatch team for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Address customer inquiries professionally and provide excellent service throughout the delivery process.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
