Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences. Load and unload, secure, and install equipment while verifying condition upon delivery and return. Plan and optimize routes, coordinate with dispatch, and provide basic instructions to clients on equipment use. Maintain accurate delivery records and address customer inquiries professionally. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while performing these essential functions in the designated service area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
